Day 3 on the Ghan – The end

24th August 2007 – Day 3 on the Ghan – The End: Adelaide

The train arrived in Adelaide 10 minutes early at 1300… not bad for a 2,979 km (1,851 miles) journey.

The last part of the journey in to Adelaide is quite boring. The farmland was slowly replaced by suburban creep. Adelaide seemed to spread for miles and miles.

One minor problem at the train station… they had lost my bag! After a 10 – 15 minute search it turned up with the crews bags. Most odd.

Again, the train station at Darwin is outside the town….
